Brainwave is a self-organized Somabay get-together with a quiz in the middle. Good venues, good food and enough time between rounds to make a proper plan of it. Some editions float, some come with dinner and some keep going past responsible hours. Bring your people or come make some new friends.
Open to residents, visitors, hotel guests and anyone who thinks they're the smart one.
THE NEXT WAVES
Nautilus Beach, Somabay
The floating edition returns: four rounds, simultaneous reveals and an early Halloween mood. Costumes welcome. Swim suits tolerated.
Nautilus Beach, Somabay
Back in the water for another afternoon of floating tables, strategic splashing and friendships under light pressure.
SCape Beach, Somabay
We start at sunset and settle in around the chef's table. Dinner lands between rounds; the bonfire handles whatever happens after.
SCape Beach, Somabay
A Christmas chef's table by the shore, served between rounds. Sunset first, bonfire later, festive arguments throughout.
Somabay
The quiz leaves the beach and takes over a Somabay bar. Once the winners are declared, the night is officially unsupervised.
